▲ An engineering sports competition

    On Friday, May 24, an engineering competition was held at Ulsan National University's Grand Stadium for students of Ulsan National University's engineering college. A total of 11 departments from the engineering college participated in the engineering competition: shipbuilding and marine engineering, industrial management, safety engineering, construction and environmental engineering, medical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, aerospace engineering, IT convergence, chemical engineering, advanced material engineering, mechanical and automotive engineering, and nano semiconductor engineering.

     The students of the College of Engineering gathered at the Grand Stadium from 9 a.m. to hold the opening ceremony and warm-up exercises, and after that, various games such as soccer, basketball, relay, archery, jump rope, and tug-of-war were held in earnest. In the middle of the game, event games such as random reels games and performances by dance club X-Tile heated up the atmosphere of the College of Engineering, and they asked if they were having a fun time playing with water guns among the students of the College of Engineering.
  As a result of the engineering competition, the winning department was the MVP of the black team (High-tech Materials, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Construction Environment, Medical Engineering, and Semiconductor Engineering). The engineering students' association, which oversaw the engineering competition, said, "The engineering competition was quite a big sports competition, so it was a lot of pressure, and I had a hard time while preparing it, but I felt relieved that it ended well because I helped the seniors who had a lot of experience. Until now, I didn't know because I've always experienced the event in a way that I always enjoyed, but while overseeing this event, I learned that more effort was put into it than I thought. This made me appreciate and enjoy any event. Managing the event is not an easy opportunity to access, but it was very good and new experience to be able to take it as a great opportunity this time."
  I was able to start summer a little earlier with this engineering competition, which was hotter than any other event. I hope the engineering competition gave us a good opportunity to get closer to each other.
