 A new semester has already begun in March and spring has arrived. Are you all enjoying your school life? The cherry blossom season, which will add pink vitality to your pleasant school life, is approaching. I would like to introduce Ulsan University's famous cherry blossom spot, ‘Makgeolli Dongsan(Garden)’.

 Ulsan University's ‘Makgeolli Dongsan’ is also called ‘Makdong’ for short and is located right in front of Ulsan University's 44th building (architecture hall), and next to the tennis court. It is said that students have come to call it ‘Makgeolli Dongsan’ as a place to throw makgeolli parties, but these days, it is also called ‘Cherry Blossom Dongsan(Garden)’. In Makgeolli Dongsan, students enjoy a leisurely picnic from day to evening on a mat in the cherry blossom rain. In an exciting new semester, it is recommended to leave pleasant memories of university days at Makgeolli Dongsan, which is held only in spring.

 There have been several new changes in Makdong in 2024. Environmental improvements (road repair, weeding, garbage dump management, etc.) have been made for the safety of classmates, and lights that can leave precious memories are installed, so it would be a good idea to go see them in the evening. The lighting time is 18:50 to 22:30, so please refer to that. Finally, I will explain the rule to use Makgeolli Dongsan. Noise-causing acts, excessive drinking, and the use of fire are prohibited. In addition, it is good to make precious memories while enjoying a picnic in Makdong, but above all, I hope you will become Ulsan University students who clean up the finish.
